The event-site tool we wished existed.
On no-friction, one-QR-forever, and what we're building from Canada for the casual host the rest of the internet forgot.
In one paragraph
Quickfest is a no-friction event-site builder. Pick an event type, answer three questions, and a beautiful, mobile-first event page is live before you've created an account. The differentiator is the Dynamic QR — one printed code whose destination evolves with the event: RSVP before, schedule during, photos after.
Who it's for
Casual hosts, family event organisers, and cultural committees who don't want to wrestle with Google Forms, Facebook Events, or another Paperless Post subscription for a one-off birthday or cousin's wedding. The kind of host whose previous tool was a group text and a Google Sheet.
We built it for our own birthdays, weddings, and committee meetings, which is the short version of why it looks and feels the way it does.
What we believe
Friction is the enemy.
Every alternative makes you decide too much before showing you anything. We show you something real on the second click.
One QR forever.
Print it once, change the destination as the event evolves. No reprints, no chasing guests across three group chats.
Beautiful by default.
Templates are opinionated, regional, and made for the gathering — not the spreadsheet.
Free in V1.
No paid tiers, no credit-card capture, no payment processing. The V1 job is to prove people will create events and guests will respond.
Where we are
We're a small team building Quickfest out of Canada. V1 is Canada only — we picked one geography to nail localisation, support, and the small trust signals that matter when someone scans your QR for the first time. The next geography comes after we've earned it.
